The vision
It made a big impression on him, so he started looking for it a little more, as he was not concerned with the stars and constellations that were not visible in the latitude of Athens.
He learned that Canopus is about 300 light years from Earth and is a white supergiant, 10.000 times brighter and 250.000 times larger in volume than our Sun. Its brightness and position in the celestial sphere make it the reference point used by many modern spacecraft and satellites to navigate through the vastness of space.
After reading some mythology, he learned that Canopus was the navigator of King Menelaus of Sparta, when the latter was on his way to the Trojan War with his 60 ships.
That’s it… The business dream now has a name : Canopus.
So, Canopus embodies the vision for the creation of a company that would be, in the future, the model and the reference point to which everyone would aim to orient themselves correctly and the navigator who would guide, with safety and confidence, anyone who wanted to reach a difficult and distant destination and achieve their goals.
Our Story
This is how we created our first brand name, "CANOPUS BROKERS – Estate Agency & Engineering," with which we began operating primarily in the real estate sector. As our customers increasingly demanded our exceptional services, we decided to grow even further, and so in June 2020 we became members of the global RE/MAX family under the brand name "RE/MAX Canopus." This move strengthened us and gave us access to tools and expertise that made us even more effective in the demanding field of real estate, while also enabling us to serve customers not only throughout Greece but around the world.
At the same time, we created the ideal environment to attract the best partners—agents—and to provide them with everything they need to elevate themselves from being great to becoming truly exceptional. Our collaboration with RE/MAX ended in September 2023.
Upon its completion, we created our new brand, "YOUR HOME SOLD by CANOPUS BROKERS™," representing the best real estate agency in Athens, in order to enter the market of high-end and luxury properties and to implement a fresh and unique concept in the Greek real estate industry. Through this brand, our professional partners gain access to unique service packages designed to make them leaders, far ahead of the “cheap competition,” while our exceptional clients enjoy exclusive, comprehensive, and high-quality services that no one else in Greece provides.
Since its establishment, Canopus P.C. has been a healthy and profitable company, an industry benchmark and leader in every sector in which it operates, with the largest percentage of its profits currently coming from the provision of real estate and related services.

Theofanis Roussas (CEO): Founder and principal shareholder of the company. As a Civil Engineer, he brings deep technical knowledge and a structural understanding of the real estate market. His approach is strategic, focused on maximizing the value of every property.
Fotini Papachatzi (COO): The second shareholder and the driving force behind daily operations and sales. With studies and experience in Education, Insurance, and Real Estate, she ensures the high quality of services delivered to clients.
